Fire Safety Training

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 stipulates fire safety training as a legal requirement of all employers to ensure their staff are fully trained in the theory and practical handling of fire safety equipment. Here at AG fire Limited we support you in this objective by providing industry professionals to deliver quality and comprehensive certified Fire Safety courses aligned to your busy work schedules tailored to meet the specific needs of your business.

Tailoring of fire courses is designed around the job role of your staff members. For example, some staff members may be expected to tackle small fires with fire extinguishers whereas other staff members may be required to fulfill the role of Fire Marshall and will require more detailed in depth training. Whatever level of training is required AG fire Limited have the course for you.

AG fire Limited offer fire safety training courses designed and delivered by staff certificated by City & Guilds and Fire Protection Association qualifications, for example Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTTLS) and ‘Train the Trainer’. As a minimum, our course material is aligned to the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) and links to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) outcomes as noted below:

• HSC 027 7.1 7.2 7.3: Contribute to Health & Safety in Health & Social Care
• Outcome 4: Care and welfare of people who use services
• Outcome 10: Safety and suitability of premises

Our trainers aim to deliver training in a friendly, accessible and interactive manner that is conducive to learning and considers the diverse needs of learners. Additionally, we actively encourage the personalisation of our training courses through the inclusion of customer specific information and we are always willing to tailor training courses according to customer requirements. On completion of all our training courses, including practical use of fire extinguishers, delegates receive certificates of their engagement thus supporting the needs of employers to evidence mandatory undertaking of employee fire safety training.

Delegate enjoyment and the fulfilment of customer expectations are extremely important to us, as is the need to ensure our training material is formatted to a structured learning path. To measure training effectiveness and inform future training development, delegates are asked to anonymously complete training evaluation forms which are subsequently analysed and consolidated with written feedback provided to the commissioning customer. Furthermore, the training statistics and feedback generated during this process is made available via our TRAINING OUTCOMES PAGE and is offered in support of our aim to provide an open and collaborative service.

Ranging from basic fire safety awareness to full Fire Marshal certification, all our courses include the opportunity for staff to engage with “LIVE” fire and/or practical demonstrations, incorporating the legal obligation to comply with UK Fire Legislation.
